Mt. JUMBO WESTSIDE LITTLE LEAGUE

T-Ball Division

T-Ball Division: League Ages 4-6 (youngest birthday MJWSLL registers is 3/31/21)
Use the Little League Age Calculator to determine League Age. Select Little League Baseball as the Sport and enter Birth Year and Birth Month of the Player.

Schedule:

Season runs from mid April to late May/early June.
Practice: There will be practice opportunity(s) before games start, but once the season starts there is typically not practice. The Practice Schedule is up to the Coach.
Games: Games are 2 times per week on weekdays (days will vary). Games start at 5:30 PM and last about 90 minutes (or however long attention spans last).

What to Expect:

A fun, introductory level for boys and girls to develop a love for the game.
Focus on basic skills: hitting, catching, throwing, running, and fielding.
Emphasis on learning the game flow rather than keeping score.
Players start with a tee; coach pitch may be introduced later.
Small teams for more one-on-one coaching.
Required: Baseball mitt. Optional: Baseball pants, cleats, etc.
Helmets & bats provided; personal bats must meet USA Baseball (USABat) standards.
