Rookie (Coach Pitch) Division: League Ages 6 - 8
Use the Little League Age Calculator to determine League Age. Select Little League Baseball as the Sport and enter Birth Year and Birth Month of the Player.

Schedule:

Season runs from mid-April to late May/early June
Practice: There will be practice opportunity(s) before games start, but once the season starts there is typically not practice. The Practice Schedule is up to the Coach.
Games: Games are 2 times per week on weekdays (days will vary). Games start at 6:00 PM and last about 90 minutes (or however long attention spans last).

What to Expect:

Builds on T-ball skills in a fun, developmental setting.
Coaches reinforce rules while allowing teaching moments.
Modified rules ensure game flow and equal playing time.
Scores may be kept, but no official standings.
Introduces basic baseball rules, hitting, throwing, and catching.
Players progress from coach/machine pitch to kid-pitch by season’s end.
Focus on fundamentals: batting stance, base-running, defense, throwing, catching, and fielding.
Emphasizes proper equipment use, attire, and good sportsmanship.
Required: Baseball mitt & cleats. Optional: Baseball pants, etc.
Helmets, bats and catcher's gear provided; personal bats must meet USA Baseball (USABat) standards.
